Has anyone had the 15 minute heart check at the doctor? What does it involve? Can any doctor do it? Does it cost extra? Is it thorough? I’m almost 40 and overweight. Just starting my journey to get healthier and thought this would be a good start as I get palpitations quite often. Thankyou

It is probably an ecg which is the sticky circles placed on your chest and they record your hearts rhythm to see if there's any abnormalities. It's not painful at all and I guess its thorough but not an expert. They may get you to exercise during the test.
I had a coronary calcium score dome. It was at zero and I'm 50yrs old . It's a much more accurate test than the one you've asked about here
Go and have a full health check, bloods. Ecg, BP.
Book a double appointment with your GP and make sure they are aware it's a full health check so they can have everything ready. Make sure you're fasting so yours bloods can all be done too.
Mine was gluten. Came back negative for celiac but naturopath thought it was gluten. Went off it and took a good probiotic and symptoms disappeared. I also lost a lot of weight quickly which she felt was due to all the inflammation. Also get your doctor to check B12 and Iron etc. Mine was bulk billed but things have changed since then. Xx
