Hypnotized 😵💫
Wondering if other people have experience with people who are under the influence/spell?
Is it real?
Can it happen?
How do I undo it?
A loved family member not living with me has had a personality change and when I talk it’s like they do not hear me, retain anything I say. Someone else told them the same thing as me and it was like the first time hearing the information. It’s not a once off or twice. Other people are noticing this too.
Any help is much appreciated.

Why would your first thought be that they’re hypnotised? Ask them to see a doctor.
Been doctor
Without going in depth you know when something isn’t right and it’s not medical
If you are controlled by another just going to a doctor isn’t going to provide answers. I’m especially asking about the possibility of hypnosis so thanks but it’s not helpful
different commenter, i would suggest you see a psych.
i'm not being funny either, magical thinking, paranoia, is the first signs of things like bipolar.
If they are suffering from a mental illness it could be just that their head is consumed by 10 different things. You could be in a conversation with someone and at the end of it not know what the other person said. It happens to me especially over the last few years, I just can't focus. Its like luck of the draw what I actually remember.
Sounds like it
Has a doctor or specialist been able to pick this up or just what you know because so far nothing has been diagnosed here
Dementia, Alzheimer's, stress and preoccupied, mental health condition, the list is endless.
Strange you went to the one thing it wouldn't be.
Get them to see a GP.
Been doctor cleared them but I know something is up
It’s something someone else said that has me wondering and wanted to know more, not go to gp as been thanks
This is a medical issue not a make-believe. A GP should be seen to begin the diagnosis.
Okay I hear everyone and I should have mentioned that a many doctors have been seen and I cannot just take them
It’s more like a control issue and I’ve seen the acting in front of medical staff to convince nothing is wrong
I have been hypnotised twice for seperate things.
One was at least 10 years ago by a ADHD specialist so I didn’t react to my husband’s impulse behaviour. Worked a treat, I don’t think anything changed besides me just not reacting at all any more. Recently for sugar, I have high blood sugar, changed the taste of food for me, no longer crave sugar.
Thanks for that information
Appreciate it
