Healthy proteins with vegetables or salad. Boring but once you start using sauces or bakes it's full of fat, sugar or salt even the home made versions. Its good to be basic!
It depends on how fussy they are and their ages?? So for my kids when they were little, I used to make hidden vegetables in Spaghetti Bolognaise because it was near impossible to get them to eat them on their own. As they got older, I would tell them to at least take one bite and encourage vegetable eating. They did struggle with some sensory issues and my youngest two still do not like potato much. I am now at vegetables and meat. My kids are teens but they still love plain foods which drives me crazy 😔 I have to cook things like curries, tuna mornay or vegetable lasagnes for myself when I get a break.. which is not very often.
