I’m wanting to try duramine because I’m absolutely desperate right now to lose weight. What were your experiences on it?

Awful. Absolutely awful. It's literally speed. I didn't eat but I didn't sleep either. Like 1-2 hours a night. I was a gittery, paranoid mess and that was just 2 weeks. Seriously awful and dangerous. Gained everything back after I stopped.
It made me rage.
Unprovoked.
I'd be driving to work on a quiet country backroad punching my windscreen. I couldn't continue past that so I don't know if it would have settled or not.
My husband took it. He lost about 20kg, then the weight loss stopped.
He didn't sleep, eat, rapid heartbeat, and for someone who has trouble waking up in the morning - hyper alert in the morning. It also made him less tolerant behind the wheel and generally grumpy, but nothing serious.
Unfortunately, he gained it all back immediately upon stopping, without him really eating much junk.
I'd look at using something like the My Fitness Pal app to count calories & understand how much you should eat. I'm doing it to lose a few kg as I am gaining weight slowly. It's reminding me that I've crept up to eating too much food & the wrong kind, and aren't active enough.
I took it for the drug effect. I don't have a Weight problem but I was taking three 40mg capsules at a time twice a week to get high. The comedowns were awful. I never got aggressive, but on a comedown I got jittery and extremely tired. It's extremely addictive, even for those with a weight problem.
I used duramine about 4 years ago. I did find it effected my mood slightly. Weight loss was good. It gave me confidence with the weight loss. However, once I stopped taking it I did gradually put the weight back on. If you’re in a position to do so I would recommend joining a fitness challenge which also supports the nutrition too. I did one recently which helped to hold myself accountable by tracking my food and focusing on fitness together. With the support of the nutritionist I was able to lose weight but more importantly learn how to fuel my body in a way to productive energy and lose weight at the same time. I have been able to maintain the weight loss
It worked for my husband but once he stopped the weight piled back on, he also had vivid nightmares and his personality changed, so he decided to stop.
It affected me more then it helped. I couldn't sleep, it caused my mental heath to go down hill and even if you lose the weight you will put it straight back on when you come off of it unless you have 180 your lifestyle and eating habits.
I honestly found smaller portions and cutting back on the sweet things, still allowing a few treats made the world of difference. I fit in excerise in daily, even if it was just 20min 'dance party" with my kiddies.
My co worker lost a ton of weight but also became unbearable to be around. Massive personality change!
I've been on it for the past 3 months...not sure how much I've lost as I tend to use clothing sizes instead. I'm back in my size 12 clothing & lost 2 cup sizes. Previously size 14/16 & E Cup. The only downside I get is a dry mouth which I can cope with as I'm prone to kidney stones & it reminds me to drink water.
It is fine as long as you plan.
I take it first thing in the morning.
Drink plenty of water (because it makes you thirsty) and stock the fridge with healthy food.
Plan your day to include exercise or cleaning. Use a smaller plate for your meals. At night you may struggle to sleep so I just take a half or quarter tablet of restavit, an over the counter sleeping tablet.
It helps you to eat less and exercise more, but unless you actually try to do those things then it won’t help you to lose weight.
