My son is completing year 11 and 12 this year at TAFE NSW. My son has no clue what to study next year at uni, he’s interests are sports, health and fitness. Could I please get advise and guidance on really good options on what you recommend he study, he wants to follows his interests but is worried what careers in that field are in demand and would also love something that pays well. I’d truly appreciate all help? xx

He could so a sports nutrition degree. The health industry has a good and steady predicted growth rate.
I am half way through a bachelor of health science (nut med) and I wish I did it earlier.
If that's what he wants to do I'd say go for it!
Exercise physiology has a lot of variety job wise. Tell him to find out when career expos are on and go along
If he doesn’t know yet, I’d encourage him to enrol in a TAFE course so that he doesn’t end up with 10s of thousands of debt for a degree that he either doesn’t finish or doesn’t use afterwards. Many courses can be used as credit towards a degree later, while also allowing him to work in the industry while studying
