I am a registered nurse/midwife who is looking for a move. I work in the hospital system. I would like to work for DCJ, AOD, women shelter, refugee support, closing the gap, community mental health. For those who have changed careers, what courses did you do. Tafe Queensland is offering dual mental health and AOD diploma, would that be enough.

I am doing a cert IV in community services which most of those places will ask for as a minimum, then you could do a dual diploma in mental health/counselling? Have a chat to someone at Tafe to see what your options are.
