Have a chat to your GP, they can recommend someone in your area. You won't necessarily need a psychologist. other professionals such as Accredited Mental Health Social Workers are also knowledgeable in this area.
In QLD, you can do the triple p parenting courses for free. It's online & in some areas run in person courses (not sure if they still do).
It could be good to do together & discuss styles, approaches etc & find a common agreement.
