I have afriend who has a child .
he smokes marijuana consistantly.
he doesn't have it anywhere near his son who is 3, always pays his bills, little boy has everything.he could ever need or want, plenty of food, house is clean always and the kid is healthy and happy.
but is this still risk of harm for him to be doing it because he has a child in his care? Is there a line or is it bad altogether

Yes I think if he is supposed to be looking after the child and he is high it is bad. I have nothing against weed but don't think it goes hand in hand with good parenting. Weed slows down reaction times amongst other things that could impair his ability to make sure his son is safe.
It's no different to parents drinking alcohol while their children are home. And I've met unintelligent parents with low IQs that are slower than any pot smoker.
I believe that part taking in the use of illicit drugs is a bad choice for any person but to do it in the home with your child when you're supposed to be a role model is just plain irresponsible.
