Im 35 weeks pregnant (unplanned, my second) and feeling like I've been hit with the worst luck in history!! At 22 weeks they told me i had complete placenta previa and comfirmed it at 32 weeks also comfirming at the same time that i had gestational diabetes as well. After the ultrasound at 32 weeks the doctors told me that there was some unusual things showing up in my ultrasound and said id need a c-section and an mri before my next appointment. Well i just got home from the appointment and bad news. My doctor wants me in hospital as soon as possible because my placenta has moved through my uterus and attached itself to the muscle, now my pregnancy has moved up to very high risk and the chances of me having a hysterectomy is very high... I have a 4 yr old at home who i look after myself and they expect me to be in hospital for 3-4 weeks, im under so much stress and my 4 yr old has become so clingy because she knows something is wrong. Has anyone else been through anything like this before and have any words of advice for me?? Im struggling at the moment emotionally.

Just good luck mumma... And breathe. I was in hospital from 31.5 weeks and delivered at 34 weeks due to complications. Breathe, ask questions and know that some of the stuff they say is "worst case" but they need to advise you of all the risks... Take care and accept support from family/friends if you need it. All the best! You got this :-)
