Mum wanting to pursue a career as a Tradie

Hi Imperfect Mums, just wondering if there are many of you in the sisterhood that are Mums, but also pursue a career in a trade that has always been seen as a mans trade? And how do you find that experience? I have always had an interest in being a tradesperson. I am considering applying for an adult apprenticeship in the electrical industry, but am still a little unsure of how I would make it in 'a mans world'. Some experiences and advise would be muchly appreciated? Thanks! :)

Go for it!!!! I think you could make a thing of it in your future as the 'female electrician'. I just want to cheer you on. My dad wanted one of us (all girls) to go into something electrical as that was his trade. He couldn't get us interested.
