What do you think of the name Ruby Lee for a baby girl (as a double barrel first name)? We're hoping for it to be pretty and also a little different to just "Ruby" but don't want it to sound strange to bogan. Thanks!

I find it so stressful naming babies just because they will have the name for the rest of their lives so u want it to be one they like. Myself and hubby like unusual names which is a tad more harder I like ur name ruby-lee but u may find ppl will shorten it to just ruby. In the 80's kylie-lee was popular but everyone always used to shorten it to just kylie, even then as time goes by you always find a nickname for ur kids something to shorten it
I cant see anything silly about it. Yeah itll probably get shortened but Its nice if there are 2 Rubys she'll go back to ruby-lee.
Not silly at all. It comes down to personal taste. I like it but like ruby-Louise or ruby-rose better. But that's me : ) do what your happy with
If it doesn't sound strange or bogan to you go with it!!! No one else matters when your naming your child! Go with what you love
I don't think there's anything wrong with it, people will shorten it though so as long as you're OK with that, then go for it.
I know a lil girl with this exact name. She is a cute lil munchkin
If you don't want it shortened tell people.
I always hated people shortening my name.
Having said that we have shortened our lil girls name and that's all she gets called.
