Nipple Piercings & Breast Feeding

Hi all, weird question! I have one gorgeous little boy who is 16 months old. I will one day extend my family if all goes according to plan.
I am currently considering getting a nipple piercing and want to know if other people have had it done and successfully breastfed? I had no success with my first boy but would still like to try again with my next baby.
