Proud mummy moment - sharing

There are many times as mothers that we question what we do and how we raise our children, and it's always lovely to have them do something that confirms that you are doing something right!

My sons school does a Mother's Day stall for the kids to buy a present for mum by themselves. My Mr 7 bought me a present today, and was too excited to wait to wait till Mothers Day so I got it early! He bought me a lovely pink pen with daimonties on it. When I asked him why he bought it, his reply was "well, mum, it's pink. And pink is your fav colour. It's got those sparkly things on it, and you love sparkly things. And it's a pen. So you can use the pretty pen when you do your school work." (I have recently started uni)

If that doesnt confirm that I have done something right in raising him, I don't know what does!! Very proud mummy right now!!

Beautiful little dude! I have a similar story where my Miss 10 went to a birthday party where the mother gave all the girls $10 to go shopping. She and her best friend purchase a best friends necklace and she tells me that with her change she bought me a mothers day gift!! Makes this Mummas heart melt!
