Just wondering if anyone can shed some light on suburbs in Brisbane's west. My husband is in the process of applying for a job (wages approx 70-75k) in the suburb of Oxley & it's looking quite promising for him. We live in Victoria & i have never left the town in which we live but feel as though it's ran its course and feel like something new & fresh & in the 10 years my husband & i have been together he has always wanted to move to QLD & this job is the job he once did & has regretted ever since he left it for the one he is in currently. (left due to needing a higher income) We have 3 children, a 5 year old who is at kinder, so school next year & 3 year old twins. We have limited family support as it is so going somewhere where there is no family isnt a major issue. I'd just like to hear from other IM's anything about this area in terms of schools/kinder/daycare, employment opportunities (for myself) & just anything in general. I've already looked into real estate & whoa the houses are expensive in comparison to where i'm from. Thanks in advance ladies.

Corinda is next to Oxley, and it's a lovely suburb. I myself have never lived there but I worked in Corinda for a while, and it was a gorgeous suburb. Schools are great in that area too
