Reward chart. What is your experience with one? Did it help? Would it be worth starting one on a 2.5year old boy? What kind of rewards did u give? Im looking at doing one for things like potty training, pick up toys, listening etc.

I used to work a lot with reward charts. They can be really successful but there are some common mistakes people make.
Make the stickers themselves reinforcing so if your child like trains for example use train stickers.
Don't make them have to get too many stickers because the child will stop seeing it as worthwhile. So for a 2.5 year old Id start with the aim if getting enough stickers in one day to get a small toy or consumable. You can increase expectations when the child gets the idea.
The reward should be relatively cheap and not take longer than two days to earn at 2.5 years.
