Suburbs around Brisbane

Suburbs around Brisbane

My partner and I and 2 young kids are possibly looking at moving to Brisbane next year. Just wondering what are good suburbs (approx 30-45mins outta CBD) you'd recommend to buy in around the $300K? Close to decent schools. We've kinda been looking at Burpengary ; pros / cons?
Thanks in advance

Burpengary is alright. Narangba is quite nice. North lakes, bray park, Warner are all decent areas. Stay away from caboolture. Morayfield again a no no. I live closer to the city, so if you are planning on working in the city just know how bad the highway is, it gets quite congested in peek hour. I have no idea about schools though. To be honest I don't think you will find a good house with 3+ bedrooms for 300k but I more know the property market inner north side. If you think about going to the south side don't, at least stay away from Logan.

Redlands area is lovely (wouldn't live anywhere else), not as hectic and boxed up feeling as north lakes/ northside area, depends where you are working and what you like.. very easy to get around, takes about 45 minutes to the city, 30 minutes to theme parks and close to gold coast.. a couple of good schools, beaches, bays and islands all close by, gyms, doctors, restuarants, shopping centers, everything you need all close by without the hectic feeling, great parks, nice and green :)
