Hi fellow IMs, my husband and I are thinking of taking our two boys to Thailand and/or Singapore for a holiday at the end of the year. They will be 3yrs and 1yr at the time. Just after some feedback on any great hotels, if you used a babysitter/nanny service either through your hotel or externally and any other info that might be useful. Thanks in advance.

Hi There. Although I did not have any children at the time, the first time my husband and I went to Thailand, we stayed at Merlin Beach Resort. Friends of ours had children with them and the kids had a ball. I would stay away from Bangkok as I have heard that it is pretty dirty and seedy. I have always enjoyed visiting Phuket/Patong. I have a 10 month old at the moment and my husband and I are planning to take her over in the next 6-12 months. Hope this helps.
