Teddy bear (snuggle bunny type) repair in Sydney?

My 5 year old has a special teddy/blanket that is falling apart. The little teddy was covered in a stretchy/jersey/knit fabric - ie not teddy bear fur and has worn through. I've seen up the holes but know it's in desperate need of some professional help. I took it to a tailor/alteration place but they couldn't help. Can anyone in Sydney recommend someone? I'll try the doll hospital in the shire but prefer something north / west or east!
