What's your reccomendations?

Hey lovely people!

My DD is nearly 2 and as much as she is intelligent i want to help that little bit more.
Also, toilet training - i really need to kick my own butt and get on to this.
So my question is: What books/videos do you recommend for toilet training and also to help teach my little one to talk that little bit more? Not trying to be a pushy mum just wanting to help her.

Thanks

as far as helping her along with verbal skills. Talk to her, read kids books to her, sing songs with her involve her in what you are doing.

On the toilet training, make sure she has basic toilet training readiness skills. So make sure if she is running around without a nappy on she can hold her wee for at least 1/2 hour, if not more. Otherwise you won't be able to leave the house once she is trained.
Also it helps if she can stop midstream if startled.
I'd also make sure she can sit on the toilet or potty comfortably.

With toilet training look up the 3 Day Potty Training method. Fantastic info and helps you understand when they're ready and I found the 3 day method worked really well with our daughter. She's been trained for about 8 months and is completely dry day and night. She's been fully trained with no accidents for at least 5 months.

For development, daycare. I was reading and playing with my daughter since she was born trying to encourage development which I'm sure definitely helped her and made her excited to learn, but ever since she's started daycare her vocabulary has progressed something amazing, her knowledge blows our minds sometimes and she loves it. Whatever costs are involved in it are absolutely worth it in my opinion.
