We are planning a holiday to Bali in 2016. There are several families planning and saving to come already and we are all super excited. We have planned to go during the school holidays as there are several teachers and students in our group and we know this will increase the cost of our trip. We have chosen Bali as it is closer than Thailand and several of us have already done Thailand/Vanuata/Fiji/Surfers/Cairns. We want to go somewhere that has a great resort for kids. It must have a kids swimming area and a kids club (2 years plus). Ideally there will also be an area that is kids free too. A nice beach nearby would be great. Somewhere with family sized rooms or a Villa would be ideal. The resort doesn't need to be all inclusive. We want to go somewhere that is walking distance to facials/massages and street food/restaurants/cocktails.Has anyone been on a holiday that would fit these criteria and be able to recommend an area or resort? We don't want to go somewhere too busy or risky (we are all over 30, so nightclubs are not our thing!). I am dreaming of relaxing by the pool with a cocktail ;-D

Personally, I would never even consider visiting Indonesia after the way they're handling this political war with Australia over the death penalty! I think if we all avoid going, they'll soon learn how much they actually do depend on our country!
