At the routine 20wk scan we told told the devasting news that there was no heartbeat.
Living in a remote town, I was told I would have to fly to the nearest city to deliver bub. We ended up being out for about 3 weeks.
Since coming home I have run into people we know that have not yet heard to bad news. Also people have asked if we went on holidays?
It's not they I don't want to tell people i just don't know the words to use.
Need help in finding the right words.

So sorry for your loss. Maybe you could send everyone something. A little poem, or paragraph just updating everyone. That way you could take the time to word the way you want to, plus you don't have to find the words in the moment.
I like the above idea... I'm soooo sorry for your loss. I just want to give you a hug. Hope you find a way to tell people that works for you.
I am so sorry for your loss. I think I would be finding a way to tell people in a big announcement. You don't even have to do it, maybe get a close friend to do it.
Check out the Sands website. Also the heartfelt website.
Both have great advice on this topic.
Stay strong mumma!
I know it may sound impersonal but I know for me it would be the quickest way to get the word out- a facebook status? I'm guessing have a lot of addresses ? Or a private message on fb to everyone you want to tell? I'm so very sorry for your loss. X
We have told family and friends, it's the people you know but aren't close friends with, kids past teachers, the ladies at the bakery, shops. The lady the grooms my dogs. Needing help with specific words to say. Even just an opening sentence to sum up what's happened.
:-( so very sorry for your loss xx
I'm sorry for your loss I got told at my 20wk scan that one of my twins had passed away and it was difficult but I still got one miracle but people still ask where the second baby is and I answer in heaven. Be kind to yourself and if you have a local paper maybe do a small announcement so that you won't have to explain all the time. Sending you loads of love and it does get easier xxxx
Im so very sorry for your loss.
Maybe a public memorial? Have it advertised in the local paper so that people will see. Small town gossip may help you? I know that sounds horrible and Im so so sorry. But it maybe easier than explaining it to everyone individually. May your family give you strength and support.
Big hugs to you Mumma xx
